Complete the seating system.

Select the 31.6 mm V3 for the reference frame’s post diameter. Travel remains open until collar-to-rail ride height and usable frame insertion are measured. Check both minimum-insertion requirements and actuator/routing clearance.

The V3 product page lists 10 or 20 mm travel reduction. Use instructions for the actual version; do not assume V3.1 adjustment parts or procedures apply to an earlier post.

The reference frame uses a 36.4 mm seat collar. That is not its seatpost diameter. Clamp torque must satisfy both frame and post instructions.

Pair the post with the OneUp V3 Remote and 22.2 mm bar clamp as the independent-clamp example. The remote includes cable and housing; clamps/adapters are separate unless bought in a bundle.

OneUp also lists an I-SPEC EV adapter for XT M8100 and a SRAM MatchMaker X option. The V3 remote is not compatible with V1 OneUp clamps, front-shifter 2×/3× layouts or remote-lockout layouts according to its listing.

Confirm the full housing route, cable-end orientation and actuator operation. Keep the correct ferrules and cable end in the order. A wireless dropper requires a separate model-specific route.

A concrete candidate is WTB Silverado Medium Cromoly (Traditional), W065-0579: 142 mm wide and 280 mm long. Width and shape are rider choices, not established by frame size.

Confirm the delivered rail shape and clamp fit before installation. WTB’s traditional carbon variants use 7 × 9 mm rails; OneUp states its V3 clamp supports 7 × 9 and 7 × 10 carbon rails. That does not allow every other post clamp to use oval rails.

Keep rail clamping inside the saddle’s marks and use the saddle/post torque requirements. Check tire-to-saddle clearance with the post dropped and suspension compressed.

Keep the selected post’s seals, cartridge, cable and remote service parts with its version. The saddle, grips and pedals should be assessed together during rider fitting.
